Yoga (Ashtanga)

Join Kelly as she leads you through a traditional Ashtanga Yoga Class.  Ashtanga Yoga is an ancient form of Yoga where the postures and movements flow with the breath.  You will learn a series of poses that will incorporate the use of Ujjayi breath (deep focused breathing), Bandhas (energy locks), and Drishti (gazing point) into your practice.  No previous Yoga experience is required.  Kelly will challenge those people will Yoga experience and will introduce and possibly modify the postures for beginners.  Yoga will increase body awareness and improve the physical body as well as benefit and steady the mind. (Maximum 12 per class)

 

Instructor: Kelly Cutmore
What to wear: Light comfortable workout clothes and a Yoga Mat is all that is required  May want to bring a small hand towel..
